Robbie joined dunnhumby in April 2024 to lead our global HR following an extensive career with both Tesco and leading HR consultancies.

Experience

Robbie spent more than 13 years with Tesco, most recently as People Change Director, leading the People Strategy and Plans for Tesco Group, while also responsible for major colleague technology investments including the UK’s largest payroll transformation, and the development of a multi-skilled workforce across the store network.

He previously spent four years in Bengaluru, India as People Director for Tesco Business Solutions. His other roles with Tesco included a spell as Business Partner to Tesco Technology and Finance, while he also oversaw expert functions including Recruitment and Communications.

Prior to joining Tesco, Robbie honed his skills in recruitment and talent consultancy across the retail sector with Retail Human Resources plc and Linden Consulting.

Qualifications

Robbie holds a bachelor’s degree in Politics & International Relations from Lancaster University and a CIPD Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resource Management from Middlesex University.
